Endometrial Biopsy and Crystalization of the Cervical Mucous in Morphine Addicted Women

Abstract

|
Observations were proformed on the 38 cases of morphine addicted women With amenorrhea by endometrial biopsy, Crystalization of the cervical mucous and the inducement of estrogen withdrawal bleeding.
I) Crystalization of the cervical mucus was examined in 38 cases(78.9%) of the patients with amenorrhea the 30 cases of cellular Patterns were the most popular pictures, 3 cases (7.9%) of the Crystalization Patterns and 5 cases(13.2%)f of the mixed Patterns, were also observed.
1) Endometrial Biopsy was perfomed in 25 cases out of the 38 patients With amenorrhea The secretary phase was noted in 10 cases the Proliferative in 17 cases the mixed endometrium in 3 cases, and the atrophic emdometrium was noted in 1 case with 4 cases of: inadeguate for diagnasis by the insufficient tissue pices.
3) Estrogen was administered(20000IU x 3) intermuscularly for inducing estrogen withdrawal bleeding to the 10 cases of those secretory endometrium with cellular crystallization. Bleeding was not induced in those 10 cases.
